Q: How do I automate giving new services packages to members when they sign up?

Setup up a "New Member Package" in Setup >> Inventory >> Packages. ( See eClub Manual pg. 80) Packages allow you to sell groups of Series Items as one item, then all of the services will show in Series Item Management for the member.

Packages can be linked to a promotion (Setup >> Membership >> Promotions See eClubLogic Manual pg. 87) via the add item to initial transaction feature. Make sure to create one promotion that is triggered by everything and name it "New Member Package". This promotion only adds the New Member Package to the transaction and nothing else. This way, even if a new member does not qualify for any other promotion they will still qualify for the New Member one.

If a member has a Corporate Agreement on their contract, they will not qualify for promotions. As an alternative, one of the features of corporate agreements is adding an item to the initial transaction. Use this feature to link the New Member Package.
