Q: What is the formula for prorating a members monthly dues?

A:

eClubLogic takes the price of the monthly fee linked to the membership class and divides it by how many days are in the starting month (28 - 31). eClub then takes this daily fee and multiplies it by the number of days remaining in the month including their start date.

  1. If a member joins as a Individual Membership ($30 a month) on July 16th the prorate will calculate to $15.98
    1. 30 / 31 = .98 (rounded up) 0.98 * 16 (days remaining in month) = 15.98
    2. (Monthly Fee / Days in month = daily rate) * Days remaining in month = Prorated fee
