Q: How do I return an item that a member has purchased?
A:
(In manual page: 196)
- Go to POS screen and add the same item to the transaction
- Click on the name of the item
- Click on the "Return Item" button or hit the F8 key on your keyboard
- This will change the quantity to a negative witch in turn changes price to negative
- If item was previously sold a discount the discount will have to be entered again
- Clicking on "Tender" (F10) will take you to the Tender screen
- All tender amounts will be negative and will be returned to customer via:
- Giving cash back
- Crediting their credit card
- Placing credit on their club account
- If Item was a Product that you are tracking Stock on you will also have to do Inventory adjustment to place it back into stock if you are going to resell item.
