eClubLogic™ - Point of Sale
The POS module handles all sales transactions in eClubLogic™. The module allows club personnel to:
- Conduct a sales transaction;
- Track inventory;
- Accept cash, check, or credit cards as payment for merchandise or as partial or full payment on a member account balance due;
- And, accept and process gift certificates as payment for products or services.
The module will calculate taxes due on a sale and can be set to calculate club discounts on selected items. The module is designed as a secure site and can be set up to require users to log in. Once activated at a particular work station by a staff member, all transactions conducted at that work station until such time as that staffer logs off, are identified with and credited to that particular staffer. Transactions are further identified by work station and facility. Working in conjunction with other parts of eClubLogic™, the module controls a cash drawer, and requires staffers to reconcile cash drawer receipts at each shift change.
Because eClubLogic™ is fully integrated, those in charge of a work station are able to access and move between modules and the information they contain. The POS module can be accessed from:
- The Check-in module in attended mode;
- The Member Management module;
- The Corporate Member Management module;
- And, the Prospect Tracking module
